BULGARIAN – BASQUE  intercultural dialogue

LIFELONG LEARNING PROGTAMME

Comenius –School Partnerships

The project Bulgarian –Basque intercultural dialog ue is oriented towerds the main priority of the LIFELONG LEARNING PROGRAMME , namely “Knowledgeable Europe” and the top priority of 2008. 2008- The European Year of Intercultural Dialogue.

 

Our aims are

-         to promote lifelong learning and stimulate the development of new competences based on foregn language learning,

-         to motivate students to improve their knowledge of English and learn other foreign languages,

-         to develop and improve the usage of ICT,

-         to exchange good  practices with foreign schools, teachers and students.

 

 

RESUME OF PROJECT

 Students and teachers from INTELLECT School of  Finance and Management, Pleven , Bulgaria and from the Basque province Guipuzcua will work together to get to know each other through learning about the partners’language, culture, history and traditions. The project is aimed at expanding and deepening the  participants’knowledge within the thematic fields and topics as well as acquiring new knowledge. They will improve their language skills and inttrcultural competences in a new learning environment which is highlymotivating for learning foreign languages. Join work will create e basis for developing and improving team work and social relation, for developing managerial skill such as planning, evaluation and analysis of successful tasks and problem areas.

 

THE PROJECT IS FOCUSED ON

-Europe’s language and cultural diversity,

-Tolerance towards other nations, peoples, languages and cultures,

-Lanuage learning – including less widely used and lesstaught languages
